Old Meets New, Zichron Yaakov

A new chapter for a historic landmark.

This former olive oil press and flour mill was transformed into the new showroom for Ronis Ceramics. Set within one of Zichron Yaakov’s historic buildings, originally owned by Baron Rothschild, the project balanced the needs of a contemporary showroom with the character of the preserved structure.

Original elements, including the roof, windows and remnants of the olive press machinery, were retained alongside contemporary kitchen and bathroom displays, creating a natural dialogue between old and new. The result is a modern showroom firmly rooted in the building’s history.
